Five confirmed measles cases in Scotland have been reported to Health Protection Scotland (HPS) in the past few days. Four of these were from Dumfries and Galloway. None were previously vaccinated. Infection is believed to have been acquired in Scotland.
As you are aware measles may be prevented by two doses of MMR vaccine given at appropriate intervals.
We are happy to offer MMR Vaccine to any patient who is under 30 years of age and who has not previously received two doses of MMR vaccine. Please contact reception to make an appointment
